Emmaus Lutheran School, a pre-K to 8th grade elementary school, includes a full gymnasium, science labs, computer labs, music room, cafeteria, and a performing arts stage all designed and engineered by Hoch Associates with the assistance from the members, school board, and “church fathers” of Emmaus Lutheran.
The project involved the complete and total relocation of the prior school facility located on Broadway Street to the new facility on Covington Road. Hoch Associates was responsible for identification of programming elements, design, and engineering. Budget scope, adherence, and construction were overseen and administered by Hoch Associates as well. Furthermore, scheduling and deadline compliance were not only achieved, but were enhanced and accelerated by careful and thorough planning by all involved. The project entailed several variances and local and state government approvals, all of which were administered and performed by our firm.
All participants connected with this project are very proud of the outcome. The facilities and the ideals communicated serve as a model of what can be achieved with hard work and creativity all within a modest budget.
